The future of Turkish horsemanship is bright

Turkish Jockey Club (TJK) President Serdal Adalı, in his speech at the ordinary general assembly, said that the potential of Turkish horsemanship is great and the future is bright.

The Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Jockey Club of Turkey regarding the 2025 Budget and Regulation Amendment was held at a hotel in Istanbul. The 2025 budgets of the Turkish Jockey Club Association and Economic Enterprises were put to a vote separately and unanimously accepted.

Serdal Adalı, President of the Jockey Club of Turkey, in his speech at the general assembly, stated that horsemanship is a sector with great potential and is very open to growth, and said, "You have deemed worthy of the title of president, which I have carried with great honor for 5 terms, including the last 3 consecutive terms; As a brother of yours who grew up in this community, I have always believed in this and expressed it at every opportunity. Our equine sector has great potential and is very open to growth and has a very bright future. As we have adopted as a vision since the first day we took office as a management and as I have expressed at every opportunity; The main purpose of all our work is to take all necessary steps to ensure that our horsemanship is performed at world standards. I would like to inform you about the Fixed Probability Betting, which we launched very recently and is one of the first in our 74-year history. Since we have postponed the renewal of the Betting System and terminals for years due to the privatization process, fixed-odds betting was naturally one of the innovations we postponed. After renewing our betting systems and terminals in June without any problems, we launched fixed-odds betting on November 26."
The President Adalı stated that they will include the British races in Ganyan on December 30 and said:

"As for what kind of sales performance we have achieved in less than 1 month, the contribution of our Ganyan dealers, who normally contribute 44 percent to our total sales, was only 6 percent due to the fact that the American races were run late in the evening compared to our time and there were no race fans at that time in Ganyan dealers. Despite this disadvantage, a 60 percent sales increase was achieved in total Ganyan sales in less than 1 month with sales made almost exclusively from the virtual dealer environment. When we start fixed-odds betting on our domestic races and overseas races to be run at an earlier hour, it is predicted that this increase rate will exceed 100 percent with the contribution of Ganyan dealers. I would also like to give the good news that our sales target, which we have budgeted with 100 percent for 2024, will be realized as 115 percent with these and similar sales-enhancing applications. Adalı thanks for support for Beşiktaş presidential candidacy
Referring to the Beşiktaş elections, in which he was a presidential candidate, Adalı addressed the Turkish Jockey Club family and said, "I would like to thank you very much for your support and understanding during the Beşiktaş elections, my board of directors friends who did not look for my absence during this time, and all my professional friends, especially our general manager, who did their duties in the best way possible, regardless of overtime or holidays, as always. I wish 2025 to be a healthy and beautiful year for our entire community and our country, and I offer my respects to all of you."

After President Adalı's speech, Gülnur Gülerce, Secretary General of the Jockey Club of Turkey, came to the podium and explained the details of the budget for 2025.
